A Midwestener at heart, Dr. Hurley was born and raised in the northeastern Wisconsin peninsula known as Door County. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for both her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude with both. After graduating, Dr. Hurley moved to Maryland and quickly fell in love with Baltimore City and knew that she was here to stay. Dr. Hurley started Be More Dental in 2021 fulfilling her dream to practice high-level patient-centered dentistry in her own community with her office serving as a true “dental home” for her patients.
Clinical excellence and the ability to perform advanced dentistry at a high level have been pillars in Dr. Hurley’s daily practice. She believes in providing her patients with the most current and top-notch clinical care across all modalities of dentistry, thus she has been committed to continued learning through some of dentistry’s most esteemed institutes in dedication to providing her patients with the highest quality care available. Dr. Hurley has pursued hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education across all facets of general dentistry, with an extensive focus on cutting-edge, advanced, and safe practices of dental surgery and implant dentistry which she has found to be her true passion along her journey.
Dr. Hurley has completed over 700 hours of advanced education in implant dentistry and oral surgery alone through some of the most distinguished training institutes in the country and world. She has placed hundreds of dental implants and has helped her patients restore their dentition by replacing single missing teeth, segments of teeth, and full-mouth smile-reconstructions with dental implants. She has been trained in both traditional techniques and also in some of the most advanced-techniques that exist in the industry so that she may serve the greatest population of patients, even those who may have been told that they are not a candidate for implants elsewhere.
Full-mouth smile reconstructions are Dr. Hurley’s passion as her training in implant dentistry allows her to offer her patients confident, healthy, and realistic smiles that they never thought were possible. Dr. Hurley is currently working through the rigorous credentialing process of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has achieved the high honor of Associate Fellow with the academy. She is also diligently working toward becoming a diplomate with the American Board of Oral Implantologists. On top of her implant specific qualifications, Dr. Hurley has achieved her Fellowship through the American Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious status that is only achieved by 6% of general dentists.
Dr. Hurley values individualized, patient-centered care and she truly feels that her patients are the heart of her daily practice. She doesn’t want to work ON you, she wants to work WITH you to create the healthy and confident smile that you deserve and desire. Dr. Wears was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania and moved to Baltimore to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Loyola University Maryland where she fell in love with the city. She continued her education in Omaha, Nebraska to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry. During her time at Creighton Dr. Wears was a member of the American Association of Women Dentists, the Special Care Dental Society, and the Healthy Smiles Elementary School Dental program. She found joy in working with other health care providers performing dental screenings in local schools throughout the community and wishes to do the same in Baltimore. She is passionate about giving back to the community and is committed to provide dental care to those in need.
Dr. Wears has continued her dental education in orthodontic clear aligner therapy and dental solutions for obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Wears has completed numerous hours of continued education in oral airway therapy for sleep apnea including a Dental Sleep Medicine Mini- Residency. Sleep related breathing disturbances are linked to several systemic diseases and conditions and can greatly impact our overall health. Signs of possible disturbances are rapidly identified during routine dental examinations and are used to establish next steps for treatment. Dr. Wears is passionate about developing relationships with patients to create a comfortable environment for conversation in efforts to guide patients on their journey to better sleep and better health.
Dr. Wears enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry close to home in the community she loves. Dr. Wears strives to build long-term care relationships and to create the most comfortable environment for her patients. She is committed to patient-centered, individualized care and looks forward to seeing you in the office.
Dr. Paul was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and made his way to the east coast after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychological Sciences from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, and earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his time in Milwaukee, he was an active member of the American Student Dental Association and served as Class President for all four years. He learned a lot about the value of maintaining a learning mindset and gained leadership experience through service of others. His passion for dentistry stems from a desire to help others, an appreciation for art, and a curiosity for all things science. Off the clock, Dr. Paul enjoys exploring the outdoors, playing sports, making music, cooking, and trying new things!

Stacie is the backbone of Be More Dental Implant Studio — your go-to guide for understanding your treatment plan, dental benefits, and financing options. With 36 years in dentistry and 26 of those right here in our office, her experience is unmatched. A Baltimore native and University of Phoenix graduate, Stacie also holds a Master's in Business Administration. Her favorite part of the job is "demystifying dentistry" — helping patients see what's truly possible and feel empowered every step of the way. Outside the office, she's a proud wife of 28 years, mom of two, and devoted dog mom to Mochi, a spunky Cojack.
Amanda brings a truly unique background to her role as our treatment plan coordinator — over a decade of dental administration experience, a B.S. in Psychology from Stevenson University, and a Maryland real estate license. She first joined our practice in 2009 and returned in 2024, merging her expertise in transactions and financing with her deep understanding of dental care. Amanda is passionate about making treatment plans clear and achievable, helping patients understand their options and take confident steps toward their new smile. She is also a devoted mom of three and a proud cheer mom and coach.
Shaniya is the warm, energetic voice you'll hear when you call and the smiling face that greets you the moment you walk through our door. Always ready to help with paperwork, scheduling, and anything in between, she brings her whole heart to every patient interaction. A lifelong goal-setter, Shaniya is currently enrolled at CCBC pursuing her dream of becoming a dental hygienist — and she loves that her role here lets her make a real difference every single day. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and playing with her puppy, Jagger.
Nikki joins Be More Dental Implant Studio in 2026, bringing nearly two years of receptionist experience and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people. A graduate of Ripon College in Wisconsin with a degree in Communications and a minor in Psychology, she is thrilled to bring those strengths into the world of dentistry. Nikki loves that her role plays a part in helping patients find confidence in their smiles. Outside the office, she cherishes time with her husband, two young children, and their new puppy — walking, biking, and hitting the beach together. Fun fact: Nikki is Dr. Hurley's sister!
Keantee is a highly skilled general and surgical dental assistant who has built her entire clinical career right here at Be More Dental Implant Studio over the past four years. Her primary role is assisting Dr. Hurley during All-On-X procedures and full-mouth surgical rehabilitation cases, where her calm, caring chairside presence puts even the most anxious patients at ease. As our lead dental assistant trainer, she takes great pride in growing and developing our team. Keantee has also taken on a specialized role alongside Dr. Wears in fabricating oral sleep appliances. She is currently enrolled in dental hygiene school and loves reading, working out, and traveling in her free time.
Katherine is the expert behind our in-house lab, mastering the production, staining, glazing, and finishing of 3D-printed dental appliances, surgical guides, and same-day full-arch provisional restorations. A certified surgical dental assistant for three years — all of them at Be More Dental Implant Studio — she also plays a key role assisting Dr. Hurley with All-On-X procedures. Currently enrolled in hygiene school with an expected graduation of 2027, Katherine is passionate about helping patients transform their confidence through implant dentistry. She is also fully bilingual in English and Spanish, ensuring every patient feels truly understood and at home.
Dulce is a certified dental assistant who trained at All-State Career School and has spent her entire two-year clinical career growing with our team at Be More Dental Implant Studio. She has taken on a meaningful role in our in-house lab — 3D printing, staining, glazing, and characterizing restorations including same-day All-On-X provisionals — and is expanding into chairside surgical assisting as well. Currently taking prerequisites at CCBC toward the dental hygiene program, Dulce shows up every day ready to learn and push her clinical horizon a little further. Her favorite thing about dentistry is working hands-on with patients and discovering something new every shift. She loves nature walks, traveling, and time with friends.
Fernanda brings approximately three years of clinical dental assisting experience to Be More Dental Implant Studio, joining our team at the end of 2025 after training at Fortis Institute — a highly hands-on program covering chairside assisting, radiographs, infection control, and patient care. She thrives on the variety that our implant and surgical-focused practice brings, loving that no two days are ever the same. Already diving into All-On-X surgical assisting and laboratory work, Fernanda is driven to keep expanding her skillset every day. Outside the office you'll find her shopping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Tia is our newest addition to the Be More Dental Implant Studio family, bringing nearly nine years of clinical dental assisting experience and a genuine passion for helping people love their smiles. A Fortis Institute graduate, Tia is deeply committed to patient education and oral health advocacy — and her enthusiasm for learning makes her a perfect fit for our innovative, always-evolving team. She believes dentistry is about so much more than teeth; it is about building confidence and trust with every patient. Outside the office, Tia loves crafting, learning new things, and skating. She also has plans to attend dental hygiene school in the future.
Sabrina is one of our dental assistants, and at just a year into her career she already brings tremendous dedication and curiosity to the clinic every single day. A Sparrows Point High School student graduating Spring 2026, she plans to continue her dental education at CCBC. Sabrina's favorite part of the job is the chance to learn something new while using her hands to help real people — a combination she finds deeply fulfilling. When she is not in the clinic she loves ice skating, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. Fun fact: Sabrina is the daughter of our hygienist Chris, and the two love working side by side each day!
With nearly 40 years in dentistry and over 23 at Be More Dental Implant Studio, Chris is a beloved cornerstone of our hygiene team. She began as a certified dental assistant at Essex Community College, then earned her dental hygiene degree at Baltimore City Community College in 2003 — the same year she joined our practice. Chris recently added soft-tissue periodontal laser therapy certification to her credentials and is continually inspired by how far dental technology has come. Married to her husband George for over 30 years, she loves family time, the outdoors, trying new recipes, and cross-stitch. Her daughter Sabrina is also part of our team!
Aletitia has been a registered dental hygienist since 2017 and joined Be More Dental Implant Studio in 2023 — and she fit right in from day one. A CCBC Associate's Degree graduate, she is also licensed in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring, and recently became certified in soft-tissue periodontal laser therapy. Her favorite things about her work are the daily connections she builds with patients, the energy of an innovative practice, and empowering patients to become true advocates for their own oral health. At home she is married, a proud dog mom, and can be found binge-watching shows, planning a Florida trip, or diving into a renovation project.
Arin brings 25 years of dentistry experience to Be More Dental Implant Studio, beginning as a certified dental assistant after training at Guilford Tech. She later returned to school to earn her registered dental hygienist degree at CCBC — where she served as class president and graduated magna cum laude in 2023. Arin is passionate about the link between oral and systemic health and takes great pride in creating a safe, anxiety-free space for every patient in her chair. Outside the office she loves hiking, travel, yoga, and lifting with her husband and two kids. She is an avid dancer, a reality TV fan, and a devoted hot-fries road-trip enthusiast — and she is pursuing further education in orofacial myofunctional therapy.
